Here at Netball UK, we’re passionate about our sport and want to ensure as many young people as possible are passionate about our sport too. 

That’s why we’re inviting children and young people aged up to 16 to take part in our Water Bottle Challenge to design a new water bottle which will go on sale at Netball UK to netballers around the UK and the world.

How It Works

  • Download the PDF entry form which includes the box within which you can do your design, or download the 140mm x 140mm square JPG box where you can do your design electronically
  • Get creative and do your drawing / painting / designing – this can be either physical onto the paper, or electronic on a tablet or in an art program on a computer
  • If it’s a physical picture, take a picture of your design or scan it – but please keep the original, if you are a winner we’ll need your original artwork
  • If it’s a digital picture, save it as high a resolution as possible (300 dpi minimum please)
  • Click here to complete the form and upload your design (this can be PDF, JPG or PNG)

Design Tips

  • Make sure it’s the right size – it must be a square 140mm by 140mm (14cm by 14cm)
  • Be creative – the design can be anything, but we’re promoting our sport so try and make it clearly netball and appealing to netballers
  • Make it big, colourful and bold – the printing process means really small items simply won’t come out on the bottle, so the bolder the better.
  • Don’t fill the whole background with colour – we have the choice of lots of different base colours for the bottles, but we need your design to be on a white background. We will then work with our bottle producers to make sure it stands out on the best colour bottle.

The Prize

  • We’ll select the best three winning entries – one in each age category (8 & Under, 9-12, 13-16)
  • Each of these winning entries will have their design turned into a water bottle which will go on sale at Netball UK
  • The winner will also get a free water bottle with their design on, plus a prize pack including a pair of trainers of their choice for them and a netball bundle for their school, club or group.
